Type Poster: Hierarchy (Type 1)

I had to create a menu for a restaurant called “Cochon.” I had to be conscious and have a clear hierarchy. The menu consisted of Entrees, Side Dishes, Soups and Salads, Beverages, and Cocktails. To design this menu I used the program Adobe InDesign. I chose a particular color palette (Black, White, Green, Pink, and Grey) in order to make the menu look very distinct, eye-catching, and modern. The menu almost looks like it is a chalkboard. I decided to make the menu two pages and put a silhouette of a pig since the word “Cochon” means pig in French.
